The objectives for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Tates Creek High School are:

• To raise the level of the academic expectation for all students
   

• To raise the rigor and relevance of instruction for all faculty and staff
   

• To help reduce the achievement gaps currently present
   

• To increase student performance on all state, national, programme, and college entrance assessments
   

• To incorporate rigor, relevance, multicultural and international focus of curriculum which will  better prepare students to become life-long participatory citizens of local, national, and international communities of the 21st century.
