ACE Pre-Diploma Programme (PDP)

The ACE Pre-Diploma Programme (PDP) is a two year preparatory program for the anticipated IB Diploma Programme, which was fully implemented at the start of the 2007-2008 school year.  Any student interested in pursuing an IB Diploma is highly encouraged to participate in the advanced ACE curriculum.  It is the best way a student can prepare for the rigor of the IB programme.

Possible electives at the freshman and sophomore level include Art, Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Family and Consumer Science classes, and Business classes 

Additional ACE Pre-Diploma Information:
 

  • Any 8th grade student wishing to take Advanced Geometry or higher as a 9th grader is required by FCPS to take a math placement exam.  The exam will be administered in March at all FCPS middle schools.  The date for the placement exam will not be set until January.  At that time, middle school math teachers will announce the date and distribute review packets to students.  Private school students will test at TCHS in May.  That date will not be decided until March.  Please check back for more details.
