2012 Ultimate Frisbee Rules and Schedule

• Seven players from each team compete at once.

• Team rosters are limited to eight to thirteen players, and must include at least two males and two females.

• One member of each gender must play at all times. Teams must have at least five players present at game time – including at least one of each gender – or forfeit the game.

• Teams with a forfeit will not be eligible for tournament play and will be removed from the schedule!!

Intramural Program Overview

The intramural program provides students and staff with an opportunity to engage in friendly competition, make new friends, get to know each other outside the classroom and build a positive association within the Tates Creek community. All students and staff members are welcome and encouraged to participate. Last year over 300 players participated in intramural games. IB students may earn CAS hours for time spent participating in intramural games.

Information on intramural activities here at Tates Creek will be available online. This includes:

• registration information, including dates and printable forms
• complete game schedules, including team colors
• team rosters, often with pictures
• game rules

All activities require registration and parental consent. In addition, a registration fee will be assessed for each activity. This fee supports the intramural program and keeps the program running smoothly. Team games require registration as a team. Students may form or join any team they wish; they will not be randomly assigned. Team captains serve as coach and determine such things as starting lineups and substitutions.
